Eng. Israel Laisequilla
Israel Laisequilla (1985), better known as I. Laisequilla and occasionally by his pseudonyms Taller del inge™ / engr’s Workshop™, is an instructor , engineer , science communicator and industrial futurist , nonfiction writer and philanthropist . His books address scientific and educational topics covering the fields of industrial engineering , applied statistics , manufacturing , supply chain , industrial methodologies and total quality management . He has published 15 books and 2 literary collections, some of which have already been translated into English.
Dismissed by industrial engineers and academics for being considered a «controversial» author, both due to the titles of his books and his conclusions and perspectives regarding industrial futurology, his works reached the number one spot in sales in 2023 and 2024 under the category «industrial production». Such works are now used as foundational material in industrial projects and in labor training sessions. His «non-literary» writing style, combined with clear and concise wording that leaves aside technical jargon, makes reading technical material less intimidating. His books assume that the reader has access to new technologies such as AI and IoT, thus significantly reducing the volume of written information and helping to develop critical thinking on the topic through real cases and personal experiences in engineering.
Laisequilla was nominated for the Amazon Storyteller Literary Award in 2023 for his work «The Bible of Industrial Engineering» (2023); and in 2024, he coined the term «industrial futurist».

Works by I. Laisequilla in Mexico’s Technological Higher Education
The works of author I. Laisequilla, published by IL Publishing House, are used as academic and reference materials in higher education institutions across Mexico and Latin America.
